Accommodation - Ward Farm Shropshire
Juliet, Richard and the family look forward to extending a warm welcome to you at Ward Farm, Westhope in the Shropshire hills area of outstanding natural beauty.
Ward Farm is a working organic farm with Hereford cattle, sheep and three Glouchester Old Spot pigs. It also has chickens, ducks and geese free to roam wherever they please.
Juliet and Richard are members of Graig Producers - the group of farmers which supply Graig Farm. You can see more about their farm here.
Location
Situated in the beautiful hamlet of Westhope, South Shropshire, Ward Farm is surrounded by stunning landscape and the peace and quiet of the countryside. Westhope Church is a short distance from us and has its own green burial ground. Westhope Craft College is at the end of the lane and has a variety of interesting crafts to offer. Flounders Folly is about 20 minutes away by foot and is a most enjoyable walk. From the top of the Folly you can see the panoramic view of the local countryside for miles. The folly was also featured on BBC's Countryfile in March 2007 This is a prime area for visiting surrounding attractions in Ludlow, Craven Arms and Church Stretton, all within a 15 minute drive.
Bed & Breakfast
Three double rooms are available:
Ground floor twin-bedded room
A delightful room with two windows making it a very bright. The main window is a large bay with views across fields and woodland. The colour scheme is pastel shades of ivory, gold and pale blue.
A large en-suite wet-floor shower room accompanies this room. This, too, is a very light room decorated in fresh white and blue with the original quarry tiled floor. Doorways are wide and rooms spacious so easily accessed by wheelchair users.
Double room with private shower room 
This is a lovely light, spacious room with views across fields to hills and woodland. Shades of buttermilk, green and gold is the colour scheme for this room with genuine antique pine furniture and original fireplace. A private shower room accompanies this room.
Double room with en-suite bathroom 
A large double room with views across the farm and fields.Again, pastel shades of cream, gold and deep rose are used. A large bathroom with shower mixer over the bath accompanies this room.
All rooms have comfy chairs, remote-controlled television, tea/coffee making facilities, clock/radio and hairdryer. Wireless Internet Connection available for guests use free of charge.
Camping & caravanning
The site is available to Camping and Caravanning Club members and has facilities for up to 5 caravans offering electric hook-up points, drinking water supply and chemical disposal point. Refuse and recycling bins will be provided. There is also a shower room with WC and wash basin available for members use. The site is in a field adjacent to the house and has lovely views of the surrounding fields and woodland. The site is open from March to October weather permitting.
