How to cook the perfect steak

Cooking the Perfect steak
This is my favorite steak by far, its so easy and it’s great too for an extra special Sunday roast.
Our steaks are cut into 225g each, and are available in packs of one or two.
Cooking these is very simple, I always cook in frying pan, I find it gives you more control.
Make sure your pan is extremely hot, take your steak and cut some fat off around the eye, cut the fat into little pieces and render it down in the pan, this is a key part of that perfect flavour (you can use oil, but it’s not the same, it’s the flavour in the fat that makes the difference)
Season the fat/oil well with salt and pepper, place the steak into the pan, it should be spitting a lot but it's all worth it.
Cook until the steak is golden brown on one side and then turn over and cook until the second side is golden brown.
You now need to establish how you want your steaks.
Taking your pan off the heat and leaving your steak to rest will determine how well done or rare you want it to be, but every steak should stand for at least 5 min off the heat.
Serve and enjoy
